The District
This project reimagines a Nomad Noe candle store in San Francisco's Marina District, blending the area's rich architectural history with the brand's modern, free-spirited identity. Inspired by the District's transformation and Nomad Noe's mission of tranquility and bold journeys, the store combines classical design elements with dynamic, interactive displays. Guests are immersed in a sensory experience that highlights the brand's vegan, cruelty-free candles while celebrating the Marina District's vibrant, inclusive spirit.
Concept Development:
We developed the concept of blending historic and modern elements to align with the district's atmosphere and Nomad Noe’s identity. Symmetry and geometry from the Palace of Fine Arts inspired the layout, while vibrant, modern millwork reflected the brand’s playful art direction. Key interactive elements were planned to enhance the guest experience through the five senses: touch, hear, smell, see, and taste.
